A bit of a departure from the look of other cards. This image was published in the Ackermann Repository in 1817. The repository was a must for the highest society in England at the time and reflected the latest fashions for the season. This particular one is a walking dress. The Lovely lady on the card reminds me of Mrs. Gardiner – Lizzie’s aunt from London from BBC’s production of Pride and Prejudice.
We strive to preserve the original look and feel of the gravures that we use for our products.
The card is professionally printed on a high quality white card stock.
