Set of 3 vintage hand coloured Victorian prints.

Most who check our auctions are already familiar that we mostly sell quality reproductions. However this particular auction is different – THESE ARE ORIGINAL HAND COLOURED PRINTS< NOT REPRODUCTIONS. I am not certain when were they created – for this reason I advertise them as vintage.

The paper has yellowed slightly, but they have not been exposed to light and the colours are rich and deep.

Purchased from an estate sale in Germany. We are going to sell only a limited number of prints from the collection we have received in order to raise funds for new acquisitions to our archive of ladies and gentleman’s periodicals of the 18th and 19th century.

WESTMINSTER BRIDGE – 1745 – size overall 12.5″ x 9.5″ (32cm x 24.5cm), painted area 10″ x 5 3/4″ (25.5cm x 15cm)

BLIGH SAND – size overall 13″ x 9 3/4″ (33.5cm x 25cm), painted area 10″ x 7 3/4″ (25.5cm x 19.5cm)

In addition , from our vast collection, we create and sell quality reproductions in form of decor prints, greeting cards, journals and diaries, wedding guest books, collector reference books and others. All proceeds are used to purchase new collections.
