We own large collection of ladies periodicals from the 18th and 19th century. On occasion as we upgrade the volumes we own, we put others for sale.In our auctions we have mentioned before, that such publications have become scarcer and increasingly more valuable due to the constant destruction of these books. The beautiful hand coloured or chromolithograph prints inside are removed for framing, and immediately destroyed by sunlight regardless how protective the glass is. We advocate conservation and preservation. Please respect the books and you will be rewarded with higher financial return in the future. If you would like to frame such images consider a reproduction. We offer high quality reproductions from nearly 5000 fashion, and just as many flower engravings. Just drop us a line and we can find and reproduce almost any fashion print for you. We have done custom collections for many customers for their decor needs.
